IMCG Fridge Monkey - Cream Review

The problem:
For years we kept bottles on the lowest shelf in our fridge. We laid them next to each other, and sometimes when we ran out of space we even stacked them haphazardly on top of each other. Getting any bottle out usually threatened to destroy the entire construction and left us with bottles uncontrollably rolling around.
The solution:
I found the Fridge Monkey. It is a relatively small rubber mat with grooves, reminiscent of those parking aids one can buy to avoid hitting the garage wall when parking the car. It keeps the bottles in our fridge nice and stable now, even when stacked. The product image is accurate in showing how to place and/or stack the bottles. Cans with a smaller diameter would fit in each adjoining groove, larger bottles in every other or every third groove. More bottles/cans go on top. The grooves in the rubber hold the bottles securely, nothing rolls around - it is great.
The only thing I would change if I could talk to the manufacturer:
We have a side-by-side fridge/freezer and the Fridge Monkey does not cover the entire width of the shelf. It is 9 3/4" long, and 4" deep, so width-wise it leaves some uncovered shelf space to one side. So I wish the Monkey came in different lengths or were expandable to accommodate different shelf widths for different fridge models (The models with freezer drawers underneath the fridge compartment might be able to have two Fridge Monkeys next to each other on one shelf). For now I have placed one Monkey in the back of the shelf where I keep larger, i.e. longer bottles. A second one went in the front where I store the shorter bottles such as smaller water bottles, cans, etc. While that works just so, getting to the bottles in the back is a bit cumbersome so I would prefer only one Fridge Monkey, but covering the entire shelf length.
All in all though this product is a great idea and has significantly improved the stability of our stacked bottles as well as actually increased storage space since before we would have never been able to stack a second (front) row of bottles on the same shelf. I really love it - so simple, and works beautifully.
