I enjoyed this cooler for about a year even though it did struggle to maintain temperatures. Then it finally quit maintaining temperatures all together. I contacted Danby and they sent out an 'in home service' technician. It was determined it needed a new control card. To make a long story short, 6 months, 3 control cards and a transformer later, I was issued a refund in the form of a gift card for the big box store in which I made the purchase. I had to ask for the refund to stop the insanity of repeated attempts of replacing a card 3 times and expecting a different result. Danby customer service is horrible. Call their service number and it is no less than a 30 min on hold wait to speak to someone. Forget about a returned call. I was told they would get back with me only to never get the return call.
