Two years after buying the unit the compressor went out. I called their office in Florida and was told by a VERY rude "customer service" rep. that there is nothing they can do. She said the compressor is warranted for five years but I have to have in removed it and ship it to them for replacement. Unbelievably she could not recommend a single repair shop in Arizona that worked on Avanti's. I called several shops and they all said the Avanti's are sealed and I was looking at about a $900.00 repair (for a cooler I paid $650 for) and a minimum of six weeks until completion. I'm buying another unit however; I will never buy another Avanit!40 Bottle Digital Wine Cooler Overview
