These rare earth type magnets are pretty strong for their size ... strong enough that they can be loaded up with several key rings without falling off or sliding down, but not so strong that they're difficult to remove from the fridge.Minor nit: I wish the hooks themselves were slightly narrower, because they're a little wide for some rings, and I also wish they were a tad longer, so they could hold more and thereby take fuller advantage of the magnet's strength. With a slightly narrower and longer hook, and a magnet that was slightly wider, they'd be almost PERFECT.
In any case, despite these minor nits, they're still the best I've found so far (as of this writing anyway). I've since thrown away all my other hook magnets, and replaced them with these, exclusively.
Recommended.
