I purchased this unit, installed it under my counter with a few inches all around for ventilation. It took two days to approach temperature and struggles when the room temp is over 75 degrees.After 14 months the LED failed. I paid $38 for a replacement, which was sent without instructions. Edgestar service said, "I think it might just pop out." It actually is screwed in from behind.
By 15 months, I went to get a both of white wine from the 53 degree side to find it was about 80 degrees. Now neither side cools. Edgestar customer service couldn't guess what was wrong. They suggested, "Try Googling small appliance repair and your ZIP code." I was unable to find anyone familiar with repair of thermoelectric units. I should have suspected something with a cooling unit warranty of only 90 days parts & labor and 12 months parts. Anyone want a room temperature wine storage unit? It is pretty nice looking.
