Use of the cooler/chiller inserts is a little easier than ice and water - but you still have to use water to get the wine chilled quickly. This does get wine cold pretty fast - and no worries of leaving it in the freezer too long for the wine to freeze or bottle to explode.... Chill a bottle of wine quickly and easily with this convenient wine chiller. Its unique chill-cell technology ensures simple operation. Just place three pre-frozen chill cells into the unit, insert a bottle of wine, and pour in some water. Set the 15-minute auto-off timer, and in less than seven minutes, enjoy a chilled bottle of wine. The small appliance works with AC power or battery operation for portability (requires seven AA batteries, not included). The unit's quality design features a durable and chip-resistant brushed stainless-steel rim; a scratch- and dent-resistant polymer body for efficiently chilling bottle after bottle; and a beautiful satin finish that makes it perfect for tabletop use. To clean, simply wipe the inside and outside of the wine chiller with a damp cloth. Be sure to unplug the power cord from both the unit and the power outlet before cleaning, and thoroughly dry the wine chiller before storing.
