I did not buy this unit from Amazon (or the seller), but rather bought it locally. My first unit lasted about 6 months, and I thought it was great. Then it started to have issues. Temperature would reset itself to whatever it wanted. This was not good, but not the end of the world either.... Then it started to run constantly. I came down one morning to find condensation running off the front door, the temp read 39*F... Needless to say I had to turn it off right away. After 3 service attempts the unit was finally replaced. The replacement was not able to cool (just the cabinet with no wine) to anything cooler than 78* in ambient air temps of 77*...I would highly recommend staying away from this product. I also found Danby very hard to deal with. The wait time was always over 30-minutes when calling their customer care.
