Our goal was to reuse all containers that go to school in my kids' lunch boxes, so nothing goes into the trash. But it took lots of searching to find bottles that didn't leak. These Base Brand Reduce bottles are GREAT! They are just the right size, the cap stays tight, and as long as you screw the top on securely, they don't leak. Our only problem was that my kids kept losing the caps. But if you go to the Base Brand website, you can order 5 more lids for a $1.00 (plus shipping).
