After purchasing several Koolatron mini-fridges that all conked out in a couple of months, I purchased this one. It seems to keep the beverages much cooler than the other ones, but the secret is to let it rest. It says on the instructions you should unplug the unit after every 48 hours. To eliminate the inconvenience of doing this, I have it plugged into an ordinary light timer. It goes off for about an hour every night. I think that's the secret to keeping these units going. Plus the shelf inside is very convenient.
