I've had this unit for about 3 weeks and it's running quite well. It arrived quickly and undamaged. Packing could have been better but since it arrived OK, no problem. It fits 18 normal wine bottles (750ml). It's quite quiet (certainly less noisy than the Cusinart I had). Temperature is adjustable and accurate. Obviously it allows for one temperature, so if you like your white wines chilled you'll probably have to move it to the fridge and hour before you open the bottle.
Overall I'm very happy with this unit. We called a wine store for a recommendation and this is the manufacturer he recommended.

Keep up to 18 bottles properly chilled with this freestanding wine chiller. The unit's innovative thermo-electric cooling system, which involves very few moving parts, delivers ultra-quiet, energy-efficient operation and protects wine from unnecessary vibration. More importantly, thermo-electric cooling does not use ozone-depleting chemicals such as CFC's or HCFC's, which means it's better for the environment. In addition, the wine-cooling unit's dual-paned glass door provides better UV protection and better insulation properties for enhanced energy efficiency. Other highlights include a maximum ambient room temperature of 77 degrees F, easy push-button controls, digital temperature display, and sturdy shelf racking for individual bottle storage. Five pull-out chrome shelves are included. Attractively housed in a black cabinet with stainless door trim and handle, the wine chiller measures 21-1/2 by 14 by 25-1/2 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
